This inhibition prevents cell division and leads to bacteria death. Ciprofloxacin shows high efficacy against Pseudomonas aeruginos, Serratia marcescens, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus (Viridans group), Haemophilus influenzae, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae.
